Using Wordz as a screen-saver

Installing Wordz as a screen-saver

You have the option of installing Wordz as a screen-saver during setup. If you chose not to install as a screen-saver during setup, you must re-run setup but take care to save your default.wdz file with another name otherwise it will be overwritten during setup.

Configuring Wordz as a screen-saver

Windows Start Button->Settings->Control Panel->Display or Right-Click on the Desktop->Properties

Click on the 'Screen Saver' Tab.

Select 'Wordz' from the drop-down list.

Click on 'Settings'. When Wordz has loaded press F2 to bring up the Preferences Page

Click on the tab called 'File Paths and Output Options'

In the box containing the start-up file name, make sure it points to a valid file, such as the default.wdz file in the Wordz installation directory. Use the 'Browse' button to locate a specific file. Once you have clicked OK or Apply the filename will be stored in the registry and Wordz will start with that file until you specify another.

Replacing Wordz as a screen-saver

Windows Start Button->Settings->Control Panel->Display or Right-Click on the Desktop->Properties

Click on the 'Screen Saver' Tab.

Select something other than Wordz from the drop-down list.
